What is the validity period of my Tripsavr account?

Tripsavr 2.0 accounts are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase.

How can I log in to my Tripsavr account?

As a member, you need to fill in your Member ID and password on the following login page to access your account.

I did not receive my login credentials. What should I do?

Kindly check the inbox of your registered email address for the Welcome Letter. If you do not find it, please check your Spam/Junk mail folder as it might have been redirected there. If you are still having trouble accessing your account, please contact our Customer Care at help@myqvi.com.

How do I change or reset my password?

You can reset it at any time by using the “Forgot Password” option on the login page of the website.

What happens if my Tripsavr 2.0 account expires?

Your Tripsavr account will automatically be deactivated when your Tripsavr package expires. Once your account is deactivated, any balance of Travel Savings and/or Travel Credits in your account will be forfeited.

How to renew my Tripsavr 2.0 account once it has expired?

Your Tripsavr account will automatically be renewed every time you purchase a Tripsavr package. The expiry date of your Tripsavr 2.0 account will be 5 years from your last date of purchase.

How can I become a Preferred Customer of Tripsavr?

Registration is by invitation only. If you know someone who is an existing member of Tripsavr, you can get him/her to send you an invitation.

What is the validity period of my Preferred Customer Tripsavr account?

Whether you’re a Tripsavr 1.0 or Tripsavr 2.0 Preferred Customer, your account will only be valid for 6 months from the date of registration.

Do I have to pay in order to become a Preferred Customer?

No, it is absolutely free!

After registration, what will I receive as a Preferred Customer?

If you are a Tripsavr 1.0 Preferred Customer, you will receive 25 Travel Savings in your account. You can use them to get a discount on your first reservation. If you are a Tripsavr 2.0 Preferred Customer, you can either get some Travel Savings from your referral or purchase them from the Tripsavr platform.

How can I log in to my Tripsavr account?

Use your registered e-mail address and password on the following login page to access your account.

Can I forward my invitation to someone else who is interested?

Yes, you can, as long as you haven’t registered. Once the activation link is used, it cannot be used again.

What is the validity period of the invitation link?

The invitation is valid for 30 days from the date the invitation email is sent.

How do I change or reset my password?

You can reset it at any time by using the “Forgot Password” option on the login page of the website.

How can I refer a friend?

To refer a friend, do the following;

  • Go to your Dashboard.
  • Click on the “Refer a Friend” button on the left-hand panel.
  • Fill in the form with your friend’s details.
  • Submit the form and an invitation email will be sent to your friend.

By following these steps, you will be on your way to earning more special rewards from Tripsavr.

How do I know if my referral has accepted my invitation?

You will find the list of Preferred Customer Invitations you have already sent on your Dashboard under “Refer a Friend”. From there, you can follow the status of your pending invitations. In case you have not received any feedback from your referral, feel free to send them a reminder.

What are Travel Savings?

Travel Savings are online credits that allow you to enjoy discounted prices on accommodations, car rentals, tours, and activities offered on the Tripsavr platform. They are not real currency that can be used for any other transaction and do not hold any value outside of the Tripsavr platform.

How do I use my Travel Savings?

When you make a reservation on Tripsavr you will be shown the Public Price (price available to the public) as well as the amount of Travel Savings that you are entitled to use to redeem a discounted price. Once your reservation is confirmed, the amount of Travel Savings used for that particular transaction will be deducted from your balance.

In case your Travel Savings balance is low or zero, you can always top up your account anytime through the Tripsavr platform.

Can I use my Travel Savings to pay for a booking or any travel-related expense incurred during my holiday?

No, Travel Savings can only be used for bookings made on the Tripsavr platform.

Can I let anyone use my Tripsavr account and spend my Travel Savings?

Yes. Feel free to let anyone enjoy the benefits of Tripsavr. However, please note that QVI will not be held responsible for any misuse of your Tripsavr account.

Can I cash out the unused Travel Savings in my account?

No, Travel Savings have no cash surrender value, credit value or other implied value. However, you can transfer them to your Preferred Customer.

What are Travel Credits?

Travel Credits are credits valued in USD that can be used to pay for bookings. You can earn Travel Credits by making more bookings or by redeeming Tripsavr Eaze with e-vouchers.

How many Travel Credits will I earn for each booking?

Whether you book hotels, car rentals, or activities, you will earn 1% Travel Credits from every consumed booking. This reward is applicable when you pay using a credit card or e-Card only. If you choose the “Pay-at-Hotel” option, you will get a 3% return in Travel Credits.

How do I check my Travel Credits balance?

When you log in to your Tripsavr account, you will see your Travel Credits balance at the top-right corner of the page. For more details, go to your Dashboard and click on “Travel Credits” located on the left-hand panel to review your Travel Credits status and expiration date.

When will my Travel Credits be credited to my account?

Your Travel Credits will be credited to your account once your stay is complete.

When can I withdraw my Travel Credits?

You can withdraw your Travel Credits whenever you reach USD 250 or more.

What are the payment methods available when booking through Tripsavr?

You can pay using any recognised credit card. Alternatively, you can use your e-card or redeemed Tripsavr Eaze.

What is a “Pay-at-Hotel” reservation?

The “Pay-at-Hotel” option allows you to secure your reservation without paying in advance. With this feature, you will be able to pay for your booking upon check-in. Please note that only credit card payments are accepted and will be used to guarantee the reservation.

Are the displayed room rates on Tripsavr per person or room?

The rates are per room. Please ensure that you input the correct number of guests associated with your booking as rates may change based on occupancy.

Does the room rate include taxes and fees?

Yes! However, please note that some charges such as Nationality fees, Resort fees, Hotel parking fees, and City surcharges imposed by the local government, may not be included in the quoted price and will be collected by the property during check-in.

Is breakfast included in my reservation?

Breakfast is included for reservations where it is specifically mentioned. Always refer to your room details for clarity.

How can I contact the hotel or service provider regarding my reservation?

If you wish to contact them directly, their contact details are indicated in your confirmation voucher.

How do I cancel my reservation?

Simply log in to your Tripsavr account and:

  • Go to your Dashboard
  • Click on View Reservations located on the left-hand panel
  • Select the reservation you intend to cancel
  • Click the Cancel button next to the reservation.

Once your reservation is cancelled, it cannot be reinstated.

If I cancel my reservation, will I get a refund?

Refunds are subject to your reservation’s cancellation policy. Please read the cancellation policy carefully before submitting a reservation. Also, note that there is no refund for the Travel Savings used for the reservation.

What if I find a cheaper rate than the one offered on Tripsavr?

If ever you find a better rate than the one offered on Tripsavr, you may file your claim in the Price Guarantee module (found at the bottom of your Dashboard upon logging in to your account) within 24 hours of completing your booking. After verification, you will receive a refund of 110% of the price difference. Please read and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions before submitting your request, as the Best Price Guarantee Program Terms and Conditions apply.
