What are Savings Dollars?

Savings Dollars are online credits that allow you enjoy discounted prices on accommodations, car rentals, tours and activities offered on the Tripsavr platform.
They are not real currency that can be used for any other transaction, and do not hold any value outside of the Tripsavr platform.

How do I use my Savings Dollars?

When you make a reservation on Tripsavr, you will be shown the Public Price (price available to the public) as well as the amount of Savings Dollars that you are entitled to use to redeem a discounted price. Once your reservation is completed, the amount of savings Dollars used for the particular transaction will be deducted from your balance.

What if my Savings Dollars balance is low or zero?

Feel free to top up your account at anytime on the Tripsavr platform.

Can I use my Savings Dollars to pay for a booking or any travel related expense incurred during my holiday?

Savings Dollars can only be used to avail yourself to reservations made on Tripsavr platform.

Can I let anyone use my Tripsavr account and spend my Savings Dollars?

Yes! Feel free to let anyone enjoy the benefits of Tripsavr.
However, please note that QVI will not be held responsible for any misuse of your Tripsavr account.

Can I cash out the unused Savings Dollars in my account?

No, Savings Dollars have no cash surrender value, credit value or other implied value.

What is a “Pay-at-Hotel” reservation?

The “Pay-at-Hotel” option allows to secure your reservation without making an advance payment. With this feature, you are able to pay for your booking at your convenience upon check-in.
Please note that only credit card payments are accepted and will be used to guarantee the reservation.

What are the payment methods available to me when booking through Tripsavr?

You can pay using any recognized credit card. Alternatively you can also use your e-Card to complete your reservations.

Is the room rate inclusive of taxes and fees?

Yes! However, please note that some charges such as:

  • Nationality fee
  • Resort fee
  • Hotel parking fee
  • City surcharges imposed by local government,

may not be included in the quoted price and will be collected by the property at the point of check-in.

Are the displayed room rates on Tripsavr per person or per room?

The rates are per room. Please ensure that you input the correct number of guests associated with your booking as rates may change based on occupancy.

Is breakfast included in my reservation?

Breakfast is only included for reservations where it is specifically mentioned.

What if I find a cheaper rate than the one offered to me on Tripsavr?

If ever you find a better rate than the rate offered on Tripsavr, you are required to inform our Customer Care within 24 hours of completing your booking. After verification, you will receive a refund of 110% of the price difference.

How do I cancel my reservation?

Simply log-in to your Tripsavr account:

    Go to your Dashboard

  • Click on View Reservations located on the left-hand panel
  • Select the reservation you intend to cancel
  • Click the Cancel button next to the reservation.

Once your reservation is cancelled, it cannot be reinstated.

If I cancel my reservation, will I get a refund?

It’s okay to change your plans. However, refunds are subject to the cancellation policy of your reservation. Please read the cancellation policy carefully before submitting a reservation.
Please note that there is no refund for the Savings Dollars used for the reservation.

How can I view or manage my reservations?

You can find your booking history in your Dashboard, under View Reservations.

How can I contact the hotel or service provider regarding my reservation?

If you wish to contact them directly, their contact details are indicated in your confirmation voucher.

How can I become a member of Tripsavr?

We will be happy to have you among our members! For that, simply reach out to our Customer Care at customercare@qvitripsavr.com and we will get back to you!

How can I log-in to my Tripsavr account?

As a member, you need to fill-in your member ID and password in the following login page in order to access your account.

I did not receive my login credentials. What to do?

Remember to always check your Spam/Junk mail folder just in case it got delivered there! If you are still having trouble accessing to your account, please contact our Customer Care at customercare@qvitripsavr.com

How do I change or reset my password?

You can set a new password at any time by using the “Forgot Password” option on the log in page of the website.

What is the validity period of my Tripsavr account?

Tripsavr 2.0 accounts are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase.
If you are a Tripsavr 1.0 member, there is no expiration date for your account or your Savings Dollars.

How to renew my Tripsavr 2.0 account once it has expired?

To continue enjoying the great benefits of Tripsavr, we advise you to purchase a new account before your current account expires.
However, you have up to 60 days after expiry to renew your account. During this grace period, you will still be able to access and use your account.
Failing to renew after 60 days will result in your account being deactivated and any balance of Savings Dollars and Travel Credits being forfeited.

How can I refer a friend?

If you are enjoying your experience on Tripsavr,

  • Go to your Dashboard
  • Click on the Refer a Friend button on the left-hand panel
  • Fill in the form with your friend’s details
  • Submit the form and an invitation email will be sent to your referral.

By following these steps, you will be on your way to earning special rewards from Tripsavr.

How do I know if my referral has accepted my invitation?

You can find the list of Preferred Customer Invitations you have already sent in your Dashboard under Refer a Friend. From there, you can follow the status of your pending invitations.
In case you have not received any feedback, feel free to send a reminder.

What are Travel Credits?

Travel Credits are real money earnings that you can spend on your bookings. In fact, each time you make a booking, you will be rewarded with Travel Credits.
How much Travel Credits will I earn for each booking?
Whether you are looking for hotels, car rentals or activities, you will earn 1% Travel Credits from every confirmed booking. This reward is applicable when you pay using credit card or ecard only.
Not only that, if you choose the “Pay-at-Hotel” option, you will get 3% return in Travel Credits.

When will my Travel Credits be credited to my account?

Your Travel Credits will be credited to your account only once your stay is completed.

How much Travel Credits can I redeem?

You can withdraw your Travel Credits whenever you reach $250 or more.

Where can I check my Travel Credits balance?

When you log-in to your Tripsavr account, you can see your Travel Credits balance at the top-right of the page.
For more details, go to your Dashboard and click on “Travel Credits” located on the left-hand panel to review your Travel Credits status and expiration date.

How can I become a Preferred Customer of Tripsavr?

Registration is by invitation only! If you know someone who is an existing member of Tripsavr, you can get him/her to send you an invitation for you to register!

Do I have to pay in order to become a Preferred Customer?

It is absolutely free!

After registration, what will I receive as a Preferred Customer?

If you are a Tripsavr 1.0 Preferred Customer, you will receive 25 Savings Dollars in your account. You can use them to get a discount on your first reservation.
If you are a Tripsavr 2.0 Preferred Customer, you can either get some Savings Dollars from your referral, or purchase them on the Tripsavr platform.

Is it possible to refer a friend who is interested in Tripsavr?

It is possible only if you are a Tripsavr 1.0. You will earn bonus Savings Dollars.

Can I forward my invitation to someone else who is interested?

Yes, you can if you are not registering. Once the activation link is used, it cannot be reused again.

How long is the validity period of the invitation link?

The invitation is valid for 30 days from the time the e-mail is submitted.

How can I log-in to my Tripsavr account?

As a preferred Customer, you need to use your registered e-mail address and password in the following login page in order to access your account.

How do I change or reset my password?

You can set a new password at any time by using the “Forgot Password” option on the log-in page of the website.

What is the validity period of my Free Tripsavr account?

Tripsavr 2.0 Preferred Customer accounts are valid for 6 months from the date of registration.
If you are a Tripsavr 1.0 user, there is no expiration date for your account or your Savings Dollars.
