This spacious two-storey resort is just one block back from the beach and provides a comfortable self-contained location from which to discover the magic of Phillip Island. Relax in the guests' lounge or go for a dip in the indoor heated pool or, if you prefer, simply veg out in the spa. The choice is yours. End the day with a walk into the charming centre of Cowes for a great meal.
Check out the museums and arts and crafts. Take a boat trip to Seal Rock and see the colony of fur seals, visit the Chocolate Factory for a delicious treat or while away some time at Maze 'n' Things. There's also a treetop walk at the Conservation Centre that lets you stroll amongst nature's sleeping beauties, Koalas. Take a photo while you're there!
Whatever you do, don't miss the Penguin Parade! As the sun drops below Bass Strait and the evening sets in, the penguins come ashore at Summerland Beach. First one and then another and then another after that; before long hundreds are leaping out of the dark water as they return to their nests. It's delightful.
