This comfortable self-catering resort is within easy walking distance of the centre of Margate, a beautiful seaside town renowned for its attractive Blue Flag Beaches! Relax on the pristine sand and watch the waves roll in or dive in and have a swim, go for a snorkel or even grab a board, wax up, and catch a wave. A lazy morning by the swimming pool with a good book sets you up perfectly for an afternoon sampling Margate's superb restaurants before engaging in a spot of retail therapy. Drop off your goodies, freshen up, and then it's off for a cool drink in a cosy pub, before dancing the night away at one of the fabulous nightclubs.

Oribi Gorge is a spectacular forest-cloaked ravine less than two hours' drive from the resort. Looking down into the vastness of the gorge, one can see huge rocks (thought to be 1,000,000 years old) littering the floor like the bodies of fallen giants from legend. Simply stunning! A trip to the seaside wouldn't be complete without a train ride and, in this case, it's all aboard the historic narrow gauge Banana Express Steam Train. Toot! Toot!
