Swiss Mountain Village

The Village is cradled in the lap of a small valley with two spring-fed ponds, with one stocked with rainbow trout during the warmer months and Mallard ducks treating the ponds as their home almost year-round!

The accommodations at Swiss Mountain Village are designed to reflect a comfortable and welcoming mountain home. Log cabins and Swiss-style chalets are spread out over 12 acres of beautiful mountainside. The cabins are built with natural materials like rough-hewn logs and native stone to help them blend seamlessly into their environment. The Swiss chalets feature a unique architectural detail - the stairway to the loft takes you over a stone fireplace so you stay nice and cozy when the mercury falls. All units have a full kitchen, washer and dryer, cable television and stone fireplaces. Each unit also has a front porch complete with two rocking chairs.

Set against the gorgeous backdrop of the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, Blowing Rock, North Carolina is home to plenty of area attractions and top travel destinations. The quaint town is known for its hundreds of small shops, galleries, boutiques, antique shops and fine clothing stores that line the streets in storybook village fashion.
