Alternatively, take a helicopter ride and enjoy a bird's-eye view of the cascading natural magnificence of Tugela Falls - the world's second highest waterfall. Hiking across the lush veldt is the best way to explore the Spion Kop Battlefields and uncover its surprising participants. Spiritually and culturally sated, you can retire to your Chalet, sip a chilled sundowner on the balcony and try spotting an antelope, whilst enormous, bearded vultures soar majestically overhead, and baboons bark a serenade from the cliffs.
