La Côte d'Azur promises a seaside holiday with a distinctly South African flavour. An impressive Mediterranean style six-storey resort, it stands guard over lush, beautifully manicured gardens that stretch all the way to the ocean and offers superb views of Margate Beach.

The fully-equipped and serviced accommodation is comfortable and elegantly furnished, with everything you need to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, including a sparkling pool, bubbling spa, a steamy sauna and an open invitation to relax and unwind.

Being a beachfront resort means there's plenty of golden sun, blue surf and white sand action, including swimming, snorkeling, canoeing, kite-surfing and boarding. A good book, a dry towel and a cold drink aren't a bad idea either! Mind you, how you spend your day is entirely up to you. The beach itself has been awarded a coveted Blue Flag, indicating it meets the very highest international environmental and quality standards. It doesn't get much better than that!
Although there's an onsite 'tuck shop' the Resort is close to the beautiful seaside town of Margate, with its charming shops, delicious restaurants and cosy pubs serving icy-cold beer. A few kilometres away is Oribi Gorge; a spectacular forest-cloaked ravine 400 metres deep. Lying like fallen sentinels at the base of this 'place of echoes' are massive rocks estimated at over a hundred million years of age. Imagine the candles on that cake!
